A halal meat manufacturer is planning to hold an open day at one of its abbatoirs in the coming weeks, to demonstrate exactly how animals are slaughtered and processed in accordance with halal guidelines. The open day is intended for all Imams and Mosque representatives.
Janan Meat will be holding the open day at their abbatoir in the West Midlands on the 30th June and their staff say they will be happy to show people around the facility, demonstrating the exact techniques used in the manufacture of halal meats and mutton. The company have been a dedicated producer of halal sheep and lamb since 1992 and is aiming to educate people on the production method of halal meats, as well as ensuring a differentiation is made between halal meat products and poultry.
