Tesco has launched a range of Halal barbeque food to go alongside the hundred or so other fresh halal products that they currently offer to the Muslim market. The range currently contains a variety of lamb and chicken products, with plans to extend the range and add more variety in the coming year.
The move comes after Tesco identified growing demand in the market for Halal foods thanks to the increase in the number of Muslims currently residing in the UK and the move follows on from moves by similar mass markjet brands, such as McDonalds and KFC, to provide halal options to all of its customers.
