French Fast Food Restaurant to Trial Halal

Quick, a fast food chain in France with over 362 recognised restaurants, is to trial halal food in 22 of these restaurants to see if it would be viable as a future business proposition.

The scheme is very similar to ones recently carried out by Domino's Pizza and KFC, with both of those companies choosing not to go the halal route after a few months of testing.

However the test phase for Quick has already been a success, prompting them to permanently convert 22 of their restaurants into halal only establishments after a small amount proved to be a success.

Eric Azan, who owns 6 Quick restaurants, claims this is a good thing, stating "First and foremost, I'm an entrepreneur and a business owner. My goal is to increase sales and satisfy my clients. It's clear I have clients that I am satisfying more since we went Halal."
